The Holiday Tour is comprised of historic home, churches, and cultural venues throughout. Each site has planned a host of activities, tours, and more for the visitor's enjoyment.

CONGRATULATIONS to Haley Adams
$1,000 Scholarship Winner

The Crossroads of Hughesville Garden Club is pleased to announce the award of a scholarship funded by the Garden Club and processed through the College of Southern Maryland has been made. Haley Adams received the $1,000 scholarship to continue her studies in environmental studies. In her thank you letter to the Hughesville Garden Club, Ms. Adams stated, “I would like to begin my career as a wildlife conservationist and work to protect the natural habitat of marine life.”

Ms. Adams attended the successful Plant Sale held Saturday, May 1, 2021 at Maxwell Hall. She thanked the Club for their generosity. The Garden Club wishes Ms. Adams much success with her educational goals and chosen career.

The Hughesville Garden Club thanks everyone in the community who ordered and purchased plants and came out to support the Annual Plant Sale and Auction. It is through events such as these that generate the funds to provide scholarships to the youth in our community. The Club also expresses thanks to all who purchased the Youth Garden Box. The Garden Boxes sold out early and the Club hopes to have future Garden Boxes highlighting the seasons of the year and encouraging gardening by our youth.
